  9. Oregon Research is proud to announce a major upgrade to Termite, a modern
  10. Telecommunications package for the Amiga.  Some of the new features in
  11. version 1.10 include:
  12.  
  13. o Built in ZMODEM protocol hand-optimized in assembly language for speed.
  14.  
  15. o Improved internal emulation.  The new internal ANSI emulator is
  16.   optimized, robust, and has been extensively tested with the most complex
  17.   ANSI screens we could find.  The new VT102 emulator is highly optimized
  18.   and is ideal for use with UNIX or VMS dialup accounts.  Both of the
  19.   built-in emulations have mouse-based cut-and-paste functionality.

  21. o Jump scrolling.  Instead of scrolling the screen one line at a time,
  22.   Termite monitors incoming serial data and scrolls up multiple lines at a
  23.   time, for a huge speed increase.
  24.  
  25. o Multitasking review buffer.  The terminal and review buffer can be used
  26.   simultaneously!

  28. o Enhanced chat window.  The chat window now maintains a resizable
  29.   "history" which keeps track of the text you have sent.  A single click on
  30.   a line in the history brings it up for editing.  A double click on a
  31.   history line instantly resends it.
  32.  
  33. o Predefined palettes.  The screen settings requester now provides buttons
  34.   which allow you to switch between ANSI, RIP, and Termite default color
  35.   palettes with the click of a button.
  36.  
  37. o Review buffer filter.  Optional filtering of ANSI codes out of the review
  38.   buffer.
  39.  
  40. o New ARexx macro capabilities and button bar functions.
  41.  
  42. o New manual and quick reference card.
  43.  
  44. Termite works on all Amiga systems with 1Mb or more of memory and WorkBench
  45. 2.0 or higher.  Termite 1.10 retails for $49.95 and is available now.
